Lost in Space (take 1)

Another failure :( in the books.

Alex and I attempted to escape from space but were unsuccessful!

2 escapologists and 3 hints (or more, but 3 official).

I like the concept of this one.  The room was well made, but you can tell it was made a few years ago, some parts were antiquated and didn't seem to work as planned.  However, I felt like I was in a proper spaceship.  The chairs in the first room were also quiet comfortable.  Neither one of us wanted to get up to get started.

Speaking of getting started; we honestly didn't know where to begin.  There was a puzzle on a screen.  The kind where you had to put it together by moving one slide over and such.

The screen said to have someone work on that while everyone else solved other clues, but we couldn't really solve any of the other clues until we finished the puzzle.  But then again, that could have been our lack of understanding.

One of the clues was apparently missing, but they did not stop our time or offer us any help.  Either way, we wouldn't have gotten out because of the crypto - whatever - graph.  That's a puzzle that changes constantly if you don't get the right answer within 20 guesses.  I tried at least 3x.  It was also loud so Alex couldn't concentrate on anything else.

Oh, well.  Better luck next time.

Featured Hint:  match the pieces to the lines on the outline.
